About Mission: Mindfulness

Welcome.  Some introductions:  I’m Hayley.  Mum. Wife. Teacher.

A busy person who has benefited tremendously from embracing mindful living.

The purpose of this blog and my business Mission: Mindfulness is to introduce as many people as possible to the concept of mindful living.

The intention is, through the blog and the courses I run, to raise awareness about how mindfulness can help everyone – young and old.    In turn I hope to help boost people’s well-being and help people be more resilient, creative and focused.  Mindfulness can also reduce stress and anxiety.

I started blogging and Mission: Mindfulness in 2016 in the hope to help people live more mindfully.

Hi, I’m Mainy and I’m looking forward to reading more from you. I’ve never heard of mindfulness so your intro was a bit of an eye opener for me. It sounds great and if I could glean even a few tips then I’m sure I’d benefit!:)

    Mainy 🙂

Hi Mainy, thanks for taking a look at the blog and leaving a lovely comment. It’s great to introduce people to mindfulness who may not otherwise have come across it. I really hope you do find the posts helpful. If you’re on Facebook I have a page on their ‘Mindful Mummy Mission’ which I share lots of articles etc on. This may be helpful to you too. x

    Dear Hayley,

I just read your article in the TAMBA magazine and immediately identified with your article. I have 18 month old twins and am also a teacher. I came to mindfulness through wanting to teach it to children but through the process realised how much I was in meds of it myself. I’m incredibly hard on myself so it is all work in progress for me, but I’m really pleased to find a like minded Mum out there!

With many thanks and best wishes,

    Alice 🙂

Hi Alice, Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a kind comment – I would have replied earlier but have had difficulty settling the twins tonight! I totally understand how easy it is to be too hard on yourself. Here’s hoping you find some helpful tips on this blog and on the Facebook page about self-compassion etc. Take care and I’m so pleased you’ve connected with the blog. x
