Yay! Lucy and I made it through the 2017 autumn term – juggling blogging, teaching, family life and hosting our new linky #thesatsesh too.
We really enjoyed our first four months hosting the linky – reading fabulous posts from regulars and newbies alike. Often we found it very difficult to choose just one post each to feature per week as the quality of the collection was so high.
This post, therefore, is a chance to showcase 10 more of the different blogposts that linked up with us over those first few months. Some that we didn’t get a chance to feature at the time.
My first pick is this one from Nicole at The Mum Reviews as I could very much relate to her experiences of making tea for her children!
I also really liked this post from Nicola at Mummy Wales as I am definitely still a Mummy and don’t like to be called ‘Mum’ either.
This post from Mrs Lighty (actually another Nicola!) at All Things Spliced was another goodie – a very practical and useful post for anyone travelling with a little one.
Then Sherry from Life at Cook’s Cabin is spot on here when she talks about the need for everyone to stop with the ‘mum guilt’.
Sumra’s birth story (Sweet Dreamer) with her first child was very dramatic with a happy ending and gorgeous photos too!
Also, Helena’s advice (from The Queen of Collage) about how to get the children to sleep when on the hols is full of sensible suggestions.
And here is another super helpful post from Helen at Talking Mums on the topic of sleep too!
This post from Mummy Here and There was one which really compliments my interest in mindfulness as it highlights the need for quiet in this noisy world.
Then we have Andy’s fab tips for anyone about to be a Best Man so do pass them on to anyone who needs them!
And finally I want to draw your attention to this raw and honest post about anxiety and depression from Lucy at Me, Being Mummy.
I’m sure you’ll agree that this is an eclectic mix of excellent blogposts which is absolutely what The Saturday Sesh linky is all about.
We can’t wait to read lots more fabulous posts this spring term which starts on the 6th January at 7am GMT.
See you there!
